Security gates are usually fitted when high security is required, in most cases to prevent unauthorized access to the rear of the property. Therefore certain specifications is most definitely required.

 

The height should be at least 6ft. The lock should be minimum 5 levers, the gaps around the gate must be minimal to prevent prizing, at Frameworks we aim for 12mm total gap between gate and posts, we always fit steel posts at both sides of the gate instead of wall brackets, and of course every millimetre of your gate will be galvanised and powder coated for maximum protection against rusting.
